As someone who should really have been “well-travelled”, I enjoy much of the content on DSTV’s Travel Channel. Unfortunately, far too much of it, falls into the category of “visit faraway places, see interesting creatures, kill and eat them”. Yes, exotic cuisine is (or was) part of the mystique of travel, but let’s face it, some local diets are just too disgusting for words.
